Treatment Approach Used
First of all we discuss your particular issue and when it started.
We need to identify if the underlying cause is stress, food intolerances, diet, emotional issues, candida or so on. We may use change of diet, specific supplements to improve digestion, or heal inflammation or damage to the lining of the digestive tract.
We may use herbs or other remedies. I will explain any body-mind links I can see, as sometimes emotional conflicts manifest as digestive problems. We may work on these together or I may suggest you seek help from a colleague for these. How does it work?
By addressing the underlying root causes, be that inflammation, diet or emotional we can allow the body to heal the problem. Most digestive problems are caused by holding tension in our gut (although we are completely unaware of it) and/or inappropriate diet. This then leads to food intolerances and inflammation. All these factors need to be addressed in order to solve the problem.
Success Stories
Martin came with a stomach ulcer and stomach pain, he was on prescription medication for it at the time. He had an inappropriate diet, and had been under a lot of stress, he also worked shifts which didn’t help. We worked out a different eating plan for him which was healthier and took into account his shift pattern. We scanned him using the NES Health device and he took some remedies, we also talked through his stress and discussed other strategies. After a few months he was off his medication because the ulcer and the pain had gone.
Susie came to me with colitis, which was quite severe she was bleeding in her stool on a daily basis. She had been given steroids to control it but wanted to address the underlying causes and have it not come back. We talked about the stress she had been under and we got her taking certain supplements. We made no dietary changes. After a few months she no longer needed the steroids and the bleeding had completely stopped.
Maggie had severe constipation due to the bowel slightly prolapsing and a minor spinal abnormality, however she did not want surgery. She was using lactulose on a daily basis but it was not really helping. We used herbs, the lasers and some remedies from the NES Health range, and she is now able to pass a motion on a daily basis with no problems.
